JOB AND DEPARTMENT SUMMARY:
This is a full-time role with Vanderbilt Health IT (VUMC) and offers a premium benefits package, challenge and visibility. You will be supported by highly collaborative team committed to exceptional performance.
Serves as a Senior Domain Specialist in a team environment, responsible for the build, implementation, maintenance and support Epic Ambulatory, with a focus on reporting, dashboards and quality measures.
Experienced in EPIC Ambulatory applications, including but not limited to Build, Support and Operation
Knowledge of healthcare operations
Support the design, build and configuration of supported applications
Research, analyze and make recommendations for reporting and quality improvements
Ensure the integrity, integration and stability of the applications/reports
Create and analyze reports created using multiple reporting mechanisms
Consult vendor support sites, discussion forums and other sources to identify best practice reporting for assigned projects or applications
Routine communication with organizational directors, managers, system administrators and end-users regarding application/system issues, resolution status and project updates
Use analytical skills and experiences to investigate or escalate support issues
Coordinate application upgrades with technical teams
Attend various meetings including departmental, application, project or others as needed
Licenses & certifications:
Epic C ertification - Epic Ambulatory
5 years EPIC work related experience
