We are searching for an Associate Surgeon in the Mayo Clinic Department of Neurologic Surgery in Jacksonville, FL, for a one-year period beginning in July 2018. This is a full time position, with salary and a medical staff appointment at the Mayo Clinic and the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science at the level of an Associate Surgeon. In this position, the Associate Surgeon will work under the guidance of faculty within the Spine Division.Â The Associate Surgeon will have the opportunity to perform surgeries that cover the entire breadth of Spinal Neurosurgery; from minimally invasive procedures to spinal deformity correction surgical management of spinal oncology.
License or certification This position is open to board eligible US trained neurosurgery residents. Qualified applicants will need to have a Florida medical license and are also required to maintain updated licensure and other credentialing throughout the time of employment.Â
