Reporting to the President of Vanderbilt Health Rx Solutions (VHRxS), the Vice President is primarily responsible for medication management programs, managing relationships with Navitus, ensuring the effectiveness of consulting engagements, and overseeing business development / sales activities. The Vice President has internal interactions with all levels within Vanderbilt Health Professional Solutions, LLC, VHRxS and VHPG. External contacts will include all levels within the Vanderbilt Affiliated Health Network, and Vanderbilt University Medical Center, along with providers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, customers, payers, vendors, consultants, PBM's and others.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Ensures the effectiveness and quality of all Medication Management programs &/or services.
Maintains appropriate metrics on all Medication Management activities &/or services.
Ensures the effectiveness and quality of VHRxS consulting engagements.
Oversees and guides business development, sales and related contracting activities.
Identifies and pursues key sales / business development opportunities.
Ensures that VHRxS has the Informatics capabilities required to provide outstanding- (1) operational performance, (2) financial performance & (3) customer service.
Manages relationships with partners (e.g. Navitus, North Highland, etc.) and go-to-market channels.
Enhances communication and coordination with other business components in Vanderbilt Health Professional Solutions (VHPS) and VHAN (Vanderbilt Health Affiliated Network).
Collaborates with Governing Boards, VHPG, VHPS &/or VUMC on all substantive issues.
Provides leadership in the areas of problem resolution, team development and personnel development. Ensures coordination with corporate goals and establishment of performance standards.
Works closely with Executive Directors to achieve operational goals.
