Seeking a medical office manager to oversee the business side of a two-physician dermatology practice in the White Marsh/Baltimore area. Duties and responsibilities shall include the financial aspects of the practice, such as billing, banking, and working with office appointed accountant. Since the environment requires an understanding of common procedures in a physician’s office, the use of medical terminologies, and coding information, billing experience is required.
An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration is preferred. The office manager will manage billing staff and shall assist with the hiring of office personnel, conducting regular performance reviews, and addressing staff issues. Office manager shall work with IT and building personnel, equipment and supply vendors to maintain and ensure proper functioning within the office environment.
Candidate should have a knowledge of electronic medical records (we currently use NexTech). Candidate should also have knowledge regarding MACRA/MIPS. Office management experience in a procedure oriented medical practice is preferred.
Medical billing experience is required.
Office management experience is required with more than three years preferred.
Knowledge of electronic medical records is required with knowledge of NexTech preferred.
