The Berwick Retirement Village is a skilled nursing center connected to the Berwick Hospital Center. The residents have large rooms with windows looking out onto beautiful landscaped grounds. The facilities have large open courtyards, which are accessible to the residents, their families and friends. The Berwick Retirement Village offers quality care for those who may be in need of a short-term stay while recovering after surgery, from an injury or from an illness. We also serve those who may require a longer stay due to a more debilitating injury or illness. The Berwick Retirement Village offers a full spectrum of rehabilitation to all its residents. There are two large spacious rehabilitation gyms that have huge, bright windows overlooking the courtyard and the village grounds.
Job Description: Manages the Nursing Home; plans, organizes, and directs all functions and activities; establishes goals, objectives, standards of performance; develops operating policies and procedures; interprets policies, standards and regulations to personnel, patients, medical staff and public.
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: Minimum of 5 years Supervisory Healthcare Administration experience in either Nursing, Finance, Business Office, Rehabilitative or Social Service areas. Must have experience working with the geriatric population, preferably in the long-term care setting.
Licenses/Certificates: Nursing Home Administrators License required. Willingness to complete requirements for NHA license during first 12 months of employment required. If licensed professional must have current state license.
