The Corporate IS Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Application Analyst I - Clinical Documentation.
The Application Analyst I - Clinical Documentation participates in: technology implementations; and clinical, business and technical process analyses within the acute care setting with a goal to integrate and align applications within the UHS EMR standardly deployed throughout the enterprise. Works to resolve customer issues/concerns identified during times of implementation, optimization, or maintenance activities. Diagnoses and communicates problems within and across teams in order to facilitate resolutions to our facility IT and clinical end users in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities include:
Demonstrates understanding of hospital workflow
Demonstrates analytical problem solving
Assists in performing routine system maintenance and builds, including major application upgrades.
Regularly meets with users, vendors and IS staff to develop/modify system specifications.
Adheres to UHS Service Level and Change Management Policies.
Researches and resolves Customer Support Center Tickets.
Supports the implementations of applications and prepares the appropriate documentation.
Performs system testing and documentation for all phases of the application development life cycle.
Assists with the training of users in operating procedures for application.
