| Position Description Eureka, California - Seeking an exemplary nurse practitioner with an interest in pre-operative care. Full-time position. Competitive compensation; comprehensive benefits. Anesthesia experience is a plus, but not a requirement. Three to five years of post-graduate experience is ideal, but outstanding new graduates may be considered. This highly independent position, will manage the day-to-day operation of the anesthesia pre-op clinic under the supervision of the medical director, who is an anesthesiologist. Responsibilities will include work-up and optimization of pre-operative patients referred to the clinic by their surgeons. Coordination with specialist consultants, especially cardiology and pulmonology, will be a daily task.
