The Manager of Compensation, oversees compensation programs for UHS and implements the organization's compensation strategy to meet ongoing business needs. Provides guidance to corporate, facility and subsidiary leaders on compensation and other HR related issues. Participates in acquisition activity. Provides analytical leadership and conducts peer review of staff work performed within the compensation function.
Essential Job Duties:
Manages compensation and incentive programs. Monitors activity and provides guidance and oversight where required.
Manages incoming requests and works with Analyst team to complete and respond appropriately. Coordinates/conducts peer review of recommendations presented by compensation team members.
Provides oversight of database of compensation practices throughout the US. Participates in redesign efforts.
Participates in plan design and effectively administers assigned incentive programs.
Assists in obtaining competitive market information to ensure UHS ability to attract and retain top talent.
Provides assistance to Corporate Recruitment in determining competitive salaries for collaborative discussion and escalated situations when needed.
Serves as acting supervisor in Director's absence.
Provides comprehensive compensation data to UHS Executive staff as needed.
Provides analytical support to acquisition team members during the acquisition of new facilities into UHS.
Collaborates with HR Managers on responding to high level facility compensation issues.
