We currently are looking for a Manager of HIM/Medical Records to join our team of dedicated Behavioral Health professionals.
The Manager of HIM / Medical Records provides the day to day supervision of the HIM/Medical Records staff. The Manager of HIM/Medical Records plans, organizes, establishes, and maintains systems to support all health information activities in compliance with all applicable laws, standards and policies. These systems include forms control, chart audits, record security, release of information, transcription and filing. The Manager of Health Information Management/Medical Records is responsible for analyzing and coding medical records of discharged patients to ensure quality maintenance of Patient information. Utilizes statistics and reports to ensure that HIM systems are in compliance with established policy and requirements or regulatory agencies. Provides guidance to physicians/licensed practitioners and facility personnel in completion of medical records, ensuring compliance with all laws, rule and regulations of federal and state licensing agencies, and within Joint Commission standards for the quality of patient care.
