The Corporate IS Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Director Information Services-Application Management. The Director Information Services works with the Senior Director to manage the strategy and implementation of UHS clinical applications and teams. Provides direction and oversight to the Integration, Core, Foreign Systems Integration, and Production Engineering areas, including the following teams; development & support of Cerner Core and Security, 3rd party interfaces to Cerner, Interoperability to Cerner, System Health, Auditing, and Strategic Domain and Upgrade Management. Directs teams on initiatives to support UHS Acute Care facilities in order to establish and enhance IT systems to support hospital operations and meet business objectives. Creates and maintains Clinical System Change Management Policies. Oversees the management of projects assigned from preparing project schedules and estimates through final implementation. Oversees modifications to existing applications that will effectively accomplish desired objectives. Provides technical support and project direction to UHS entities as needed. Coordinates work assignments given in order to meet deadlines and ensure continued progress toward assignment completion. Performs financial and personnel management duties related to assigned teams. Works closely with Managers and staff personnel to further enhance and develop their skills. Key Responsibilities include:
