Based in our corporate headquarters, the Program Manager - Value Based Contracting serves as key project manager for UHS Acute Care Division expansion into value-based contracting (VBC) arrangements with government and private payers. In the role you will:
Coordinate and manage key initiatives across participating UHS acute care facilities, including CMS Bundled Payment for Care Initiative (BPCI) and comparable VBC with value-based payers such as United Healthcare, Aetna and the applicable Blue Cross affiliate(s).
Advise managed care team in development of VBC agreements with private payers.
Develop implementation guides and related "playbooks" to guide facilities in executing on key financial, operational, clinical quality and compliance-related components of VBC.
Oversee monitoring and tracking of key performance measures (KPM), including financial, operational, clinical quality and compliance KPMs. Serves as a conduit in support of physician and post-acute provider alignment strategies at the local facility level.
Coordinate submission to CMS and key payers as necessary.
