Human Resources Director Spokane Behavioral Hospital
UHS in partnership with Providence Sacred Heart the largest healthcare system in Spokane, WA is in the process of building a joint venture 100 bed free standing inpatient acute psychiatric facility to serve the Spokane Washington and surrounding areas. The hospital is slated for operation in September of 2018. This facility will serve adolescents through adults and older adults with various inpatient programing and outpatient programming.
Spokane Behavioral Hospital a new joint venture hospital for Universal Health Services and Providence Sacred Heart is currently seeking an experienced, dynamic, and talented HR professional to lead the Human Resources team providing HR leadership, focus, and direction in all functional areas (e.g., recruitment, employee relations, compensation, etc.) The HRD will collaborate with facility leaders to recruit, retain, and develop employees. Responsible for full cycle recruitment (understand staffing needs, source for candidates, leverages ATS, interview, select, negotiate employment offers, assist with orientation, etc.)
Manages employee relations and retention management program
Maintain all Human Resources files to ensure regulatory compliance (including files for non-employed staff and other contractors)
Develop, implement, and revise Human Resources policies and procedures in accordance with state, federal, and corporate standards and ensure consistency of administration
Monitor compensation planning program and wage and hour compliance
Administers absence management process (e.g., FMLA, LOA, etc.)
Overview employee engagement activities
Conducts internal investigations and makes appropriate recommendations as needed
Partners with Corporate Legal in responding to employment litigation matters
Coordinates employee/staff development and annual mandatory training, including maintaining all job specific and on-going competencies required by Facility policy, and other regulatory agencies
Advises with Facility management and consults with Corporate HR Operations on sensitive corrective actions, PI Plans, and other performance issued
