Vanderbilt University Medical Center is looking for a processing specialist to join our team. This position will be cross functional among multiple areas of the HR Onboarding team requiring attention to detail, time management skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Key Functions and Expected Performances
- Scan and index high volume of employee documents for future electronic retrieval. Research and retrieve documents as requested. Responsible for quality control and proper indexing of scanned documents.
- Produce employee ID badges for new and current staff members
- Assist in new staff background check reviews and orientation scheduling as needed
- Complete data entry into HRMS system for employee records. Review and process source documents for accuracy and completeness. Ensuring that data transactions are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure required authorizations are documented and forms contain essential data elements including first review of documents on processing forms
- Work with other members of the team to provide administrative support.
- Must maintain complete confidentiality of all data.
Qualifications:
- Ability to complete tasks and meet deadlines
- Basic knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets
- Works well with others in a team environment while able to work with an appropriate level of independence
- Able to quickly learn and pick up on complex ideas
- Multi-task and prioritize workload
- Ability to lift / move items of up to 50 lbs
- Capable of cross training others and to learn similar job functions of team members
