Mountain Youth Academy is a trauma-based residential treatment facility located in the rolling hills of Tennessee. Our treatment center is located 13 miles from the Virginia state border. MYA exclusively treats children and adolescents, both boys and girls ages 5 - 17. It is very important for youths that suffer from trauma seek trauma treatment in order to lead a healthy and happy lifestyle. Our trauma treatment offers individual, group, and family trauma therapy as well as other treatment methodologies to help youths deal with traumas they have experienced.
We are currently seeking a Shift Supervisor for our first shift staff. This position involves providing efficient and effective management and coordination of activities of assigned shift and directly supervises direct care staff to assure the safety and security of the facility is maintained at all times. Participates in the development and implementation of students behavioral programs, following facility policies and procedures, providing crisis intervention and treatment interventions as prescribed
