River Oaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented BUSINESS OFFICE MANAGER for our Patient Accounting Department. Reporting to the CFO, the Business Office Manager is responsible for directing the activities of the patient billing and collections services, including but not limited to the following:
Maintaining bad debt, A/R days, credit balances, up front collections, and overall cash collections at established goals.
Managing and directing the business office staff, including Financial Counseling, Billing, Collections, and Data Entry.
Ensuring that Medicare is bad debt is processed per corporate policy
Ensuring accurate and timely submission of all month end and corporate reports as assigned
Managing all billing department processes including verification of insurance, cash posting, conducting audits, maintaining Managed Care rates, and all other applicable functions.
