The Patient Advocacy Coordinator is responsible for tracking and resolving all patient concerns brought to the attention of the Patient Advocate Office for entire CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances System (all hospitals and clinics). In compliance with CMS COP's. Responsibilities include talking with customers in person and/or over the phone, documenting issues, and following through from investigation to responsibilities includes development and implementation of initiatives to drive behavior change, process improvement and environmental changes based on customer grievances. Position works with Risk Management, CEO and CNO to develop these objectives. Assists in accreditation readiness and regulatory compliance.
Bachelors or Associates with 3 to 5 years experience or Equivalent experience
Five (5) to seven (7) years experience working with the general public in service-related areas.
Five (5) to seven (7) years experience in a hospital environment preferred
Must be service-oriented and work with a sense of urgency to respond to customers as quickly as possible.
