The EMR Specialist is anÂ exempt position responsible for performing a variety of duties depending on whether it is a small clinic, large medical practice, multi-clinic, or a specialty office for Northwest Texas Physician Group. We are looking for aÂ smart, dynamic, proactive experienced EMR SpecialistÂ to take on a multifaceted role with Northwest Texas Physician Group. You will be an essential part of improving quality and productivity in the physician practices.Â The EMR Specialist will oversee all activities related to the electronic health record including support, updates, documentation, implementation, and training.

Experienced in clinical workflow using EHR Systems [Cerner preferred] with regard to application implementation, enhancement and support methods and practices.
Working knowledge of revenue and practice management methods.
Driven to support the clinicians in quality initiatives, and thrive on protecting our patients through safety initiatives and HIPAA confidentiality compliance.
Demonstrated proficiency in the development of educational support tools and training delivery.
Competent in project management best practices.
Reveres data integrity and accuracy without exception.
Understanding of CMS reporting requirements (MACRA, MIPS, QPP).
Proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency.
