Centennial Peaks Hospital is a 104 bed behavioral health facility located in beautiful Louisville, CO. We are dedicated to providing a full range of mental health and chemical dependency services to the state of Colorado. We strive to enhance the mental health, safety and well-being of our patients, their families, and the community at large by providing ethical, compassionate, medically and psychologically integrated inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment for psychiatric and addiction disorders. We are currently searching for a Director of Human Resources for our leadership team.
We're seeking a seasoned HR professional with knowledge in healthcare, team building excitement and strategic workforce planning expertise. In addition, we seek a professional who exhibits the personal and interpersonal characteristics necessary to be successful in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
This position reports to the CEO and is a key member of the senior leadership team, the Director of Human Resources is responsible for assessing, planning and delivering human resource management programs and policies. This position will also work as a strategic business partner, operating with sufficient independence to ensure legal compliance, objectivity and fairness in employee matters while aligned with the organization's mission, vision and values. The HR Director will exercise prudent decision making, initiative, judgment, problem solving and self-regulation in a multitude of situations. This position will also operate as a seasoned HRM generalist, lead the organization in the administration of compensation/benefits, development, employee relations, recruitment/retention, regulatory compliance, safety, staffing and workforce planning.
Responsibilities and Duties
Serve as a strategic HR business partner with responsibility of aligning the HR functions with established business objectives set forth at both a facility and corporate level. Ensure that all HR functions and systems are maintained to ensure regulatory compliance is met at all times. Be the subject matter expert for HR compliance as it relates to accreditation/licensure, state/federal regulations and trends in HR management that promote sustainable growth and efficiency in operations.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum Bachelorâ€™s Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Management, Human Resources, or relevant field required. Masterâ€™s Degree preferred
Minimum 7-10 years HR & Workforce Management experience with demonstrated success supporting a workforce of 250+ employees
Extensive experience providing Director level HR guidance in a licensed healthcare environment preferred
Supervisory experience preferred
Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience supporting a Joint Commission accredited facility, hospital, residential treatment or skilled nursing facility
Advanced HR certification preferred
