Holtz Children’s and Women’s Hospital is one of the largest academic children’s hospitals in the southeast United States and the only Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Center located in southern Florida at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center. Jackson Memorial is one of the largest public teaching hospitals in the nation and is an accredited, non-profit, tertiary care hospital and the major teaching facility for the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. As a major referral center, Holtz Children's and Women’s Hospital not only provides medical and surgical services to a wide spectrum of our local population, but also to the most critically ill and high risk patients from across the nation and the international community.
We are seeking a dynamic leader for the position of Director of the Women’s Hospital for
one of the most high acuity maternity centers in the Southeast region. After completion of
our upcoming renovations our inpatient services will consist of 5 obstetrical operating
The Director of Women’s Hospital will lead a team of nurse managers and a coordinator of
high risk care to drive positive patient care outcomes. The leader will facilitate a collaborative,
interdisciplinary team that ensures care excellence and integration across the continuum. In
partnership with the Medical leadership the Director of Women’s is responsible for advancing
clinical practices, financial performance and strategic initiatives to enhance quality, service and
Master's degree required (at least one degree must be in Nursing).
RN License in the State of Florida or eligible.
Candidate must have extensive and progressive experience, preferably for a minimum of three years at the Director level in a high risk academic maternity center.
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
