Kingwood Pines Hospital is a 116 bed facility located in the beautiful residential Kingwood community.Â We are located about 30 miles northeast of the Houston Medical Center.Â The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services.Â We serve children, adolescents, and adults for psychiatric and behavioral health.Â The hospital also has services in intensive outpatient and partial hospital program services.
Kingwood Pines Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Program Coordinator for the Outpatient Services Department. The Program Coordinator assists with providing direct patient care to psychiatric and chemical dependency patients in the hospitalâ€™s Outpatient Services programs (Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient), toÂ insure safety and assist with providing milieu management including crisis intervention, and performing administrative and operational tasks relevant to day-to-day operations of the Outpatient Services Department.Â
Key Responsibilities Includes:
To provide direct patient care as a Mental Health Technician under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and perform other duties under the supervision of the Director, Outpatient Services.
To recognize signs and symptoms of chemical dependency disorders and apply/utilize appropriate treatment interventions.
To recognize signs and symptoms of mental health disorders and apply/utilize appropriate treatment interventions.
To insure patient safety.
To assist with milieu management.
To respond to crisis intervention.
To document patient care and patientsâ€™ responses as necessary.
Utilizes therapeutic communication skills and maintains professional boundaries with patients and their families.
Demonstrate initiative in maintaining a clean and safe environment for the welfare of patients and coworkers.
