AtlantiCare Health Services, a federally qualified health center, has an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced NJ-licensed dentist with a DDS or DMD to serve as Dental Director for a growing dental program.
Our Dental Director will serve as a practicing leader within our interprofessional care team. This role will allow you to maintain an active dental practice and see patients of all ages while serving as a department leader responsible for the direction and coordination of dental affairs, including quality management, program coordination of the dental team and site management. You’ll be able to use your extensive training, experience and vision to initiate quality improvement plans and policies that can extend our services and capabilities for the diverse patient populations we serve. And, you’ll have an active role in the education and precepting of dental students.

We are seeking an experienced DDS or DMD dentist, preferably with additional master’s-level education in public health, healthcare administration or a related field. Successful candidates should have at least five years of dental or healthcare management experience with demonstrated knowledge or experience with regulatory compliance, as well as QA and risk management programs, standards and processes. Candidates should have current DEA prescriptive privileges and CPR certifications and be able to pass a background check with fingerprint clearance.
