The Director of Business Development is a key member of the hospital's senior management team and is responsible for representing Summit Oaks Hospital in the community and growing its business opportunities.
Essential duties include:
Articulating the mission, culture and current programs to current and prospective referral sources and the community.
Supervising a team of Community Liaisons to ensure marketing efforts and results meet hospital goals.
Developing a strategic plan for creating demand for the facilitiesâ€™ services.Â
Continually evaluating the effectiveness ofÂ the business development performance and revising the plan as appropriate.
Providing network/credentialing with managed care companies.
Networking and participating in community events and committees.
Creating marketing promotional materials.
