The Human Resource Generalists: Â Â Â Â
provides clerical and general support to the Human Resources Director; to promote the effective flow of information and to manage office services in a manner that positively supports hospital operations in a manner that is consistent with the philosophy and objectives ofÂ Brentwood Behavioral Health Care.Â
Key Responsibilities include:
Administration phones are answered promptly.
Is always courteous and helpful to caller.
Answers routine HR questions and requests, referring more difficult situations to the Human Resources Director.
Consistently seeks input and clarification from the HR Director when unclear or unaware of information caller is seeking.
Treats applicants courteously, whether contacting hospital by phone or in person.
Effectively screens telephone and face-to-face contacts inquiring about employment or other HR issues; transfers calls to the HR Director.
Is responsible for orientation and having new hires fill out all necessary paperwork; creates PAF for mangers and obtains necessary signatures.
Completes all data entry in the HRIS System in an accurate and timely manner.
Consistently completes new hire paperwork resulting in time savings.
Takes initiative to help HR Director without request.
Maintains an up-to-date current job posting for the facility and on various recruitment sites as needed.
Assists with theÂ properÂ auditing of employee files.
Requests necessary information for employees files from hospital staff.
Updates credential licensure, certification and performance evaluation information.
Manages own workload exceptionally well, to the extent that support is often available to others.
Ensures that recruitment efforts are coordinated with the appropriate Hospital managers.
Ensures that all job offers are expedited timely and that all new employees included in the payroll system.
Establishes and maintains a current and complete HR file on each employee that is consistent with Federal, State, JCAHO, and other regulatory requirements.
Ensures that employees are oriented to Hospital policies and procedures.
