This position manages, reviews, and analyzes financial information and Mergers & Acquisitions financial modeling. This position also oversees strategic engagement processes, including due diligence as well as the evaluation of acquisition opportunities and other strategic relationships.
Essential Job Duties
Requests, reviews and evaluates financial statement and operational statement information, including payor mix, managed care rates, reimbursement risks and upside, volumes and costs
Normalizes financial information. Identifies and quantifies synergies and incremental costs. Develops forecasts with the collaboration of the operating teams
Prepares PowerPoint decks for deal presentation and review, drafts executive summaries and participates in presentation to senior management
Organizes and conducts financial due diligence review of the target. Prepares PowerPoint deck and other memoranda, as appropriate to assist in evaluating the merits of a transaction and valuation
Drafts, reviews and participates in the RFP process or LOI. Actively supports contract negotiations for deals proceeding to due diligence and definitive agreements. Works closely with legal counsel and finance to manage the closing checklist and complete the transaction
Works with financial intermediaries (bankers, brokers and others) to organize the smooth flow of confidentiality agreements, RFP and related responses, proposals and other communication
