Directs and manages employees in multiple units engaged in providing care to a group of patients. Recommends and revises policies and develops performance standards, departmental goals, and objectives to maintain patient care. Ensures compliance with standards of nursing practice to promote optimum healthcare delivery. Acts as liaison with physician staff regarding unit issues.
Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) required
Nurse executive certification a plus but not required
The preferred candidate will have experience working as a Nurse Manager, Service Line Director, Director of Nursing or Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO)
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Maintain current state licensure/certification, as applicable.
