Job Summary: The Manager of HEDIS has the responsibility to provide leadership, vision, strategic planning, implementation and oversight of the Health Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) project, data validation analytics, data source validation, and standardize policy and procedures on HEDIS operations.Â Â
The Manager of HEDIS will manage HEDIS medical record review activities year round as part of defined HEDIS season.Â HEDIS responsibilities incorporate ownership of managing quality data and interventions for defined markets and identifying opportunities to impact HEDIS measures, developing programs and initiatives, creating action plans and execution.Â The manager serves as key point of contact for operational activities related to vendors and with corporate quality and finance teams.Â
The manager works collaboratively with company leadership to instill a culture of continuous quality improvement and to educate and foster an orientation to the principles behind creating and maintaining a high reliability organization.Â This employee will initiate and coordinate organization-wide best practices for HEDIS initiatives and programs based on data and key performance measures.Â
The Manager aligns companyâ€™s objectives with operational efficiencies, effectiveness, and fiscal opportunities.Â As needed, the Manager will ensure that HEDIS efforts and oversight align with Compliance prerogatives, including state and federal regulations.Â The Manager will provide leadership in the areas of quality improvement policy development, health plan committee development and oversight, and health and wellness program implementation and monitoring.
