The Rehabilitation Hospital of Wisconsin (RHOW) is a state-of-the-art, 40-bed Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation Hospital that is dedicated to restoring lives. We are a result of the joint venture/partnership between ProHealth Care and Kindred Healthcare to meet the growing rehabilitation needs of the region.
RHOW specializes in treating patients with many diagnoses, including, but not limited to, stroke, brain injury, amputation, neurological and cardiac disorders. In 2016, RHOW has received Joint Commission Disease Specific Specialization in Stroke and Amputee Rehabilitation.
Under the direct supervision of the Nutritional Services Manager or Lead, the Nutritional Services Aide performs a variety of patient food service and dish duties.
This job requires working every other weekend and hours are 11:00am - 7:00pm
Responsible for a lot of dietary data entry, from new admits to supplements to diet changes.
Prepares food trays for general and therapeutic diets and prepares special diet foods as necessary.
Prepares and delivers items as requested by patient care units or patients.
Maintains tray line in a clean, neat and organized manner and puts clean dishes and utensils away.
Loads and oversees dishwashers and washes specified items by hand, i.e., pots, pans, knives.
Disposes of trash and garbage in appropriate manner and as needed.
Mops floors, cleans walk-in refrigerators and storage areas as scheduled and as necessary.
