Stonington Institute is committed to providing quality substance abuse treatment options for adultsÂ in Southeastern Connecticut and surrounding areas.Â We offerÂ medical detox asÂ well as residential addictions treatment for active duty and retired military service members in our North Stonington location.Â Our clinic in Groton, CT, offers partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment, and is conveniently located across the street from The Inn at Trails Corner, a new 180 bed dormitory-style sober community for adult men and women who attend our outpatient day treatment programs. The Inn offers overnight accommodations, full-meal service, indoor/outdoor recreation options, a workout room, and computer center for all clients.

The Director of Facilities directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in repair, maintenance and installation of plant equipment; assures the maintenance of building security, safety, grounds and utility systems; maintains satisfactory financial condition and operating results in plant operations, grounds and security.
Provides quality services to the clients, staff and visitors; clearly defines responsibilities with plant operations and grounds, and manages personnel effectively and productively; maintains safe working conditions in all aspects of plant operations and grounds operations; adheres to all Federal, State and local laws and regulations regarding Plant Operations, Life Safety, etc.
As Safety Officer, develops, implements, monitors and supervises the Safety Program; promotes a positive working environment and guest relations.
