POSITION SUMMARY: The HTM Senior Medical Systems Engineering Technologist (Senior MSET) performs evaluations, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance on devices used in the care and treatment of patients at UHS facilities, affiliates, and other institutions that have relationships either owned or contractual.Â Supervises staff.Â Participates on EOC Committee.Â Manages projects.Â Focuses his or her performance to ensure that all patients receive the safest and best possible experience while at the facilities serviced by the HTM Program.Â Works independently with minimal supervision.Â Delivers exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, nurses, technicians, administrators and all persons who are contacted during the course of their service.Â Delivers service that meets and exceeds all regulatory requirements and compliance for the position held.Â Assists HTM leadership with developing and strengthening facility and vendor relationships.Â Responsible for executing and meeting all requirements of the established key performance indicators (KPIâ€™s).Â Operates departments of responsibility in such a way as to meet the fiscal goals of the organization. Implements value Â added Â programs Â and Â services. Â Manages Â the Â satisfactionÂ of Â department Â customers Â to Â include Â patients, employees and physicians through effective communication and appropriate responsiveness to customer issues.
