Assumes primary responsibility for effective implementation of nursing and business operations for the clinics of the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Health Center (CSRFHC). The practice manager affects departmental outcomes through interpretation, implementation, and evaluation of organizational outcomes, philosophy, policies, and procedures. Facilitates intra and interdepartmental communication and collaboration to promote excellence in patient care and enhance patient outcomes. Effectively manages utilization of staff and material resources so that the most therapeutically effective patient care is provided in a cost effective manner. Promotes the professional development of patient care and administrative support staff assigned to the CSRFHC.
Bachelors Degree in Nursing required. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
At least 5 years of nursing practice and operations management experience required. Demonstrated leadership skills (decision making, problem solving, delegation, prioritizing) and supervisory experience is required.
