The Materials Management Tech is responsible for accurately stocking, receiving and distributing all hospital supplies and floor stock. Responsible for keying and updating Materials Management Inventory System at designated times for required maintenance and pick list generation. Accurately completes all necessary paperwork daily. Operates a hand-held computer terminal and performs inventory cycle counts daily. Performs daily assessment of inventory balances, floor stock, and medical supplies. Responsible for issues pertaining to exception report. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Health System and demonstrating behavior consistent with the Core Values.
High school diploma or equivalent.
One (1) year experience working with supplies in a distribution area is preferred.
Knowledge of medical supplies strongly preferred.
Medical or industry experience with inventory system management preferred.
