SummitRidge Hospital provides quality behavioral health and addiction treatment services in Lawrenceville, GA, approximately 30 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta.Â Our dedicated team of professionalsÂ provide caring and professional inpatient, outpatient and support services to adults and adolescents suffering from psychiatric or addictive disorders. Additionally, the Geriatric unit provides acute care for seniors in psychiatric crisis. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Assistant Director ofÂ AssessmentÂ to join our talented team. Purpose: Provides staff and department leadership within the Assessment department.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Â
Provides staff and department leadership
Partners with Director, Assessment with candidate recruiting, interviewing, selection and onboarding process
Partners with Director, Assessment on employee performance management, development, performance review process, rewards andÂ recognition
Completes daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as requested
Assists with intake admissions, crisis calls, intake assessments, pre-certification activities and coordination of transportation as required
Provides rotating management on-call services for the department
Assists with coordination of the admission process as needed
Partners with the business development team to develop referral sources and assist with new referrals
Assists in the monitoring/updating admission boards
Ensures continuous, quality interdepartmental communication regarding patient admissions
EnsuresÂ Assessment staffÂ provide excellent customer service to patients, staff and visitors
