The Atlantic Region CBO is seeking a dynamic and talented Assistant Director
TheÂ Assistant DirectorÂ is responsible for the management of the Revenue Cycle functions for the hospitals that the Centralized Business Office (CBO) supports. Working with their management team they are responsible for maximizing cash collection efforts, reducing bad debt, and improving net revenue to ensure that hospital goals are met. They are responsible for monitoring the Accounts Receivable (AR), managing issues which affect hospital operations, reviewing key indicators and providing operational analysis in order to implement efficiencies and improvement in the areas in which they manage. They will interact with various departments that impact the result of the Patient Financial Services including HIM, Case Management, I/S, Finance and hospital patient care areas as well as provide information, training or education as required. Provides hospital administration with various monthly revenue reports. Supervises manager and staff workflow and advises in personnel decisions.
Key Responsibilities include:
Monitor and Analyze the Accounts Receivable and Bad Debt through review of Key Indicators and reports.Â Identify and resolve issues impacting operational results.
Evaluate new initiatives and Best Practices to provide added value to Patient Financial Services operations.Â
Interact with the various departments that impact the result of Patient Financial Services including Patient Access, HIM, Case Management, I/S, Finance and hospital patient care areas.
Assist with implementations of changes in systems and operational processes.
Assist with projects, new product implementations, and participate in Corporate Taskforce initiatives.
Interact with vendors utilized in the Patient Financial Services processes to promote efficiencies and operational value.
Develop, implement and monitor compliance with UHS policies and procedures.
Provide training and education as needed.
Mentor their management staff to provide for continued operations success.
