The Assistant Director of Business Developments is responsible for collaborating with the Director of Business Development (DBD) to develop the Community Education/Business Development efforts, development and continuous refinement of the facilityâ€™s business development plan. Consulting with the Director of Business Development, this position assists with the design, development, and implementation of the business development strategic goals, philosophy, policies, procedures, and systems. This position is responsible for reporting, analyzing and presenting current market data and trends and for recommending/implementing appropriate Business Development strategic plans to the Director of Business Development. The Assistant Director participates in the Account Management system, assessing the needs of the customer with a primary focus of Excel Lewisville making the required number of marketing contacts to each account, in order to develop and maintain a long-term referral relationship which will generate a continuous flow of admissions to meet hospital census objectives.Â He/she plans events, provides tours, performs referral source in-services, acts as a liaison between the Referral Source and the hospital, and seeks out new business development opportunities for the Excel PHP/IOP programs.
