DESCRIPTION: Works under the supervision of the Department of Food and Nutrition Services Supervisor or Manager. Operates simple food service support equipment in a safe and effective manner including slicers, mixers, dish washers and pot washing assignments, assembly and service bars, storage and refrigeration, utensils and any equipment as part of the daily routine. Cleans and maintains orderly appearance of work area, may deliver trays to patients maintaining appropriate customer service skills.
REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent required. 1 or 2 years hospital food service experience preferred. Must be able to speak, read and follow simple written and oral directions. Varying shifts including weekends.
