The Corporate Advertising Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Senior Content Editor.
The Senior Content Editor drives creation of high-quality, compelling content for use across multiple channels and platforms. Ensures written content meets the needs of internal clients; resonates with target audiences; appropriately represents the brands and follows all appropriate style guides. Manages a busy workload and adheres to all deadlines.
Key Responsibilities include:
Oversees the editing process for all Acute Care and Behavioral Health publications and media deliverables.Â
Assists in writing and editing all hospital/health system publications, including html email newsletters.
Participates in concept meetings and works with department director on content outlines and communication strategies. Coordinates with the Publications Manager for print and fulfillment.
Oversees the editing process for all UHS Corporate, Acute Care and Behavioral Health website copy.Â
Reviews, edits, rewrites (as needed) and works with Digital Writers on the Content & Media Team to regularly update content on the UHS Corporate website (uhsinc.com), and all established Acute Care and Behavioral Health Division websites.
Initiates appropriate review process with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and to gain approval.
Ensures any SEO-focused web writing projects maintain appropriate content standards.
Coordinates with the Web Team for implementation.
Oversees the editing process for all copy produced for use in online and offline ads.Â
Reviews all writing used in ad production (online and offline), prior to external placement.
This includes: display ads, print ads, digital and traditional billboards, radio and TV scripts, brochures, flyers and other ad types as deemed necessary from the Media Plans.
Coordinates with the Media Team on media placement schedules.
Works with the Social Media Team to align content with their editorial calendar.
