3. Able to identify physician status, to assist physician offices,Â Administration, OR, etc. on physicians incomplete records.
Analyst is able to merge documents in the EHR, and able to make system corrections.
Ensures physician documentation has allÂ The Joint Commission (TJC) requirements.
___a.Â Utilizes electronic health record (EHR) to retrieve patient account numbers, medical record number, service dates, physician numbers and addresses.
___b.Â Utilizes system to retrieve and print reports as needed.
Travel in own vehicle
___a.Â Visit physicians at their based-office for unanswered queries or pending information for completion of chart
___b.Â Locate and visit with physicians at other hospital, clinic, ancillary for pending information for completion of chart
Â Â Interviews parents of newborn to prepare an accurate birth certificate. Obtains information
Â pertinent to baby/mother from the obstetric and newborn record in the EHR.
Â Â Secures all necessary signatures for proper filing with local and state agencies, reviewing the form
Â with the parent/s.
Â Â Processes original birth certificate within 3days of birth, including transmission to the State.
Â Â Uses SMS system to change babies name the day after discharge.
