Foundations Behavioral Health provides behavioral rehabilitation services (BHRS).Â This service is unique given that clinicians help individuals/families with behavioral health problems by providing serves in a more natural environment including homes, schools, and community locations.
The primary goal of BHRS is to assist the child/adolescent in functioning more adaptively and efficiently in the home/school/community while guiding the parent/guardian to address the problematic behaviors in a more effective and constructive manner.Â The intent of BHRS is to promote treatment in the natural, least restrictive environment.Â The purpose is to offer new alternatives to the child/adolescent and the family that promotes problem solving, skill building, competency, empowerment, and self-sufficiency.

The Behavior Specialist Consultant (BSC) is a fee-for-service independent contractor program within our Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services (BHRS) program.Â The BSC works with all members of the treatment plan to design and direct a behavior modification plan that will meet the needs of the child and family, designs and oversees implementation of the treatment plan, provides instruction to other members of the treatment team (i.e. Mobile Therapist, Therapeutic Staff Support, teachers, teacherâ€™s aides, parents, family members) in their roles and responsibilities in implementing the treatment plan, and participates in enter-agency service planning meetings.
