Quality & Compliance Educator CPD Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston MA Full-time
The SPD Educator collaborates with Perioperative services to evaluate, revise, and enforce educational programs, curriculum, and other related materials needed for facility needs. Educators will develop and organize educational content and curriculum; implement, conduct and enforce training programs for all departmental staff members. SPD Educators are responsible for developing tools, competencies, and retention methods needed to evaluate and maintain records of participation.
The Quality & Compiance Educator will ensure all infection control policies and procedures are strictly enforced and ensure OR/CSS is in full compliance with regulatory agencies such as: The Joint Commission, Dept of Public Health, and American Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation, AORN standards, etc
Can actively actively satisfy the role of supervisor and/or QA Tech is required
5 years or more of Sterile Processing experience, preferred to be as a Supervisor or Educational roll.
Three (3) years of Supervisor and/or education
Associate in Business orHealthcare, or equivalent experience, or CHL Certification
