The Enterprise Disaster Recovery Director is responsible for the daily operations under the CHRISTUS Health's Business Continuity Program. The Director will lead technical business continuity planning and testing within Information Management (IM) throughout CHRISTUS Health. Lead the disaster recovery effort utilizing the latest methodologies and emerging technologies.
Bachelor's degree is required, and a Master's degree is preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of a leader in a cross-functional disaster recover area within a complex information systems environment.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience leading IT business continuity.
Education and experience in relevant ITIL support and delivery processes
Experience managing and building a team, problem solving, and delivering time sensitive material on schedule.
Experience project managing technology initiatives that require full structured fail over tests to validate alignment of documented plans with desired outcome.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in technical writing of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity policies and standards.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others in the work environment, particularly technical staff.
Ability to perform in a rapidly changing and stressful working environment.
Timely and dependable follow-up on problem resolution.
Financial skills related to budgeting and forecasting.
D. Licenses, Registrations or Certifications:
Certification within Disaster Recovery, such as DRP, DRCS, DRCP strongly preferred
