The Community Experience Coordinator provides customer service, data and project coordination to ensure positive experiences for members and guests of The Beryl Institute. In this role, the Coordinator has three main areas of responsibility: customer service, data collection and coordination of community activities.
Senior Director, Membership
Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas (Virtual position – will work remotely with periodic in-person meetings)
Answer inbound calls and serve as a one-stop resource for member/guest questions
Provide timely, helpful and accurate customer service, including email, telephone and written communications
Develop knowledge on the Institute’s products and services to serve as a resource for members and guests
Assist in maintaining membership database and the integrity of member/guest data
Support Senior Director, Membership with email communications and other administrative projects
Manage virtual event technical support and logistics including event registration communications and maintaining continuing education survey follow-up
Manage fulfillment process of store products
Conduct other office functions and/or operational tasks as assigned
Bachelor’s degree preferred
1-2 years’ experience in customer service or administrative support
Team player with an understanding and focus on the delivery of unparalleled service
Effective communication skills, both oral and written
Strong organization and time management skills
Independent/self-starter – ability to take on tasks without instruction
Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft programs
Healthcare industry knowledge a plus
The Community Experience Coordinator is a non-exempt, virtual role, providing the individual with greater flexibility and also the need for critical focus in maintaining consistent communication and responsibilities. Travel expectations will be related to team meetings, events hosted by the Institute, or direct outreach to major member organizations. This will average around one trip per quarter.
