Job Summary The Contracts Legal Coordinator will help with the uploading and routing of contracts to the appropriate parties for approval, drives the process for contract execution, and processes fully executed contracts. Manages the contracts within the companies' contract database. Provides support to the Contract Administrator and legal team member(s), including managing vendor contracts and answers any contracts related questions received from other departments within the company. If needed, coordinates with Supply Chain and Accounts Payable in the process for vendor setup and compliance on managing vendor questionnaires, Stark forms, and adhering to policies and procedures for vendor setup process.
Facilitates and manages requests for contracts not centrally coordinated by other departments (e.g., Supply Chain, Provider Contracting, and Property Management). a.Validates needs for adding new vendor, including verification of a fully executed network contract and Scope of Work (SOW). b.Ensures vendors meet contract compliance requirements for insurance coverage. c.Completes all necessary excluded parties searches and other vendor verification searches, as required to vet supplier and minimize risk exposure. d.Works with vendors and stakeholders to acquire all required forms for vendor set up in accordance with established network processes, policies, and procedures. e.Processes contracts requests through appropriate workflows in contract management
Maintains and manages Contract Database agreements, including visibility and proactive communication of contract termination schedules in contract management system.
Projects on an as needed basis, including but not limited to tracking project timelines from a contracting perspective.
Provides contract management support, such as back up for Contract Administrator when necessary.
