The Human Resource Generalist (HRG) functions as a generalist with the following primary areas of responsibility (not an all-inclusive list): development and interpretation of HR policies and Employee Handbooks, employee relations, assisting with management of external complaints (e.g., EEOC, State Civil Rights, etc.), trending employee relations data, development and presentation of HR competency training programs, conducts regular site visits, manages new employee intake, orientation and other training programs, including Service Excellence. Manages full cycle recruitment functions through HR Smart, including job posting, application management, interviewing and onboarding process. Maintains and manages human resource processes that are user friendly and operate within accepted privacy mandates. The HR Generalist (HRG) provides support to key department projects (e.g., START, HR Smart, Service Excellence, Employee Engagement, etc.). Responsible for quarterly consolidation and reporting to Corporate of metrics (START). Provides employee relations support for multiple behavioral health facilities. Responsible as a neutral liaison with employees, managers, Idaho Educational Services and Corporate. Set up, maintain and organize all personnel files, including contracted providers. Assist Risk Manager with employee safety initiatives, responsible for worker's compensation reporting and management of the return to work process. Manages employee evaluation process, site HR Communications, and reporting to UHS Corporate HR. Coordinates all Personnel Action Requests (PAR) and oversees multiple site employee staff changes. Proactively coordinates with Finance Coordinator on issues relating to employee compensation. Provides ongoing training on new and updated HR policy, procedures and benefits program. Acts as an advisor for supervisory personnel regarding policy administration, employment law and regulations to assure compliance. Responsible for Company and personal Service Excellence Standards.
