Garland Behavioral Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented IOP/ PHP Clinical Therapist (LMSW/ LPC) with a strong area of expertise with Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Outpatient Program to join our team in developing quality services consistent with our philosophy to serve Garland and the surrounding communities. Our Social Workers also assist patients by using therapeutic treatment skills to help them achieve their optimal level of emotional health. The PHP/ IOP Clinical Therapist is responsible for providing support to the day-to-day operations of the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs including, but not limited to: administrative functions, assessment, discharge planning, group/individual/family therapy, case management, utilization review, and other duties related to delivering a successful program. Under the direction of the Clinical Services Director, the Social Worker will provide exceptional care by assisting patients in meeting their bio-psychosocial needs.
Formulate and conduct psychoeducational, therapeutic, and/or support groups as assigned
Communicate effectively with patients, families, health care team members, agencies, and community providers regarding patient status and progress
Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the patient
Identify opportunities for program improvement and participate in Performance Improvement projects and activities
