This position is responsible for the overall operations of the assigned physician practice(s). Ensures services are delivered in an effective, efficient, and customer-oriented manner and in accordance with all federal, state, local, and accrediting agencies' regulations, requirements, and standards.
Essential Requirements/Job Specific Standards
Actively directs the strategic, volume growth, and marketing efforts of the practice.
Manages staffing in a financially responsible manner and in accordance with budgetary requirements.
Works collaboratively with the physicians and providers to develop and maintain a culture of professionalism, mutual trust, and respect.
Coordinates all facets of interviewing, hiring, evaluating, terminating, and conducting timely performance appraisals of staff.
Works with staff to establish performance standards and monitors staff progress in relation to goals and objectives.
Works effectively and collaboratively with the billing staff on all facets of the revenue cycle to maximize overall financial performance, billing, coding, and collections at each of the clinics.
Meets with each physician on a regular basis to review practice volumes, financial performance, and patient satisfaction; identify and address strategic and operational issues; and discuss ways to improve practice performance.
Ensure that the practice is providing a high level of customer service that is supportive of organization's Service Excellence Standards as well as provides a high quality of patient care.
Other practice and APA related duties as reasonably requested and assigned.
