Job Summary The Clincial Informatics (CI) Ambulatory Specialist is responsible to collaborate with ambulatory clinic staff, as well as IT to develop IT system efficacy. The CI Ambulatory Specialst will provide ongoing clinical application training to new staff, as well as continuing education or training and support.
Act as a resource and liaison throughout the system for ambulatory staff.
Assist IT with implementations and system upgrades of ambulatory clinical applications.
Resolve problems with IT clinical analysts while utilizing the change management process.
Track ambulatory providers efficiencies and work on solutions
Supports the overall business/project plan by providing deliverables as a team member to meet project team performance and outcomes relative to established goals and measurements
Works with the training team to develop follow up at the elbow support for new providers
Play a role in developing a means to analyze optimizations and work on solutions that fit in with the ambulatory steering team
Will participate in workgroups that pertain to ambulatory regulatory measures
Performs other duties as assigned.
