Job Summary The Informatics Specialist will contributes to the loading and validation of payer data, the review and validation of payer reports, and assists with operational activities of the Informatics team. In addition, the Informactics Specialist will analyze and report on data from claims, financial reports, patient, provider and practice list, and validations extracts and reports.
.Assists with payer and claims data validation provided by payers and other partners on contract performance, which may include cross-referencing data against other sources, understanding differences in calculations and data sources, and testing that the data presented by other parties
Assists the Informatics team with the development of a variety of standard, ad-hoc and customized clinical and financial-oriented reports.
Assists with the implementation of new information technology in support of the organization and the ongoing integration of new source systems to feed the databases. Conducts validation of clinical and financial data in new applications and in ongoing enhancements
Assists with the translation of data into an understandable documents and reports. May present actionable data to end users in the format best matched to their needs, including publishing key reports using Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, or Word. Provides support to users in interpreting and presenting data, including presentation of data to individuals and groups.
Participates and assists Informatics Team on projects, research studies, market surveys and software implementations.
Communicates and collaborates with other departments in managing day-to-day aspects of projects, identifying resources needed and choosing the most efficient method of data extraction and analysis
