Rockford Center is Delaware's first private psychiatric facility and remains a leader in providing behavioral health care services and continues its commitment to providing quality health care. Rockford Center, a 138-bed acute psychiatric hospital continues to provide a full continuum of behavioral health services to geriatrics, adults, adolescents, and children.
The Human Resources Director will oversee the day-to-day frontline activities of the HR Department.
Key Responsibilities include:
Responsible for full-spectrum recruitment efforts of facility to include: recruitment for all exempt, nonexempt and temporary workers; writes and places advertisements; works with supervisors to screen and interview candidates; conducts reference checking; extends job offers; new employee on-boarding completion; conducts new-employee orientation.
Provide support and counsel to senior leaders, department heads and employees with open-door policy.
Administer company employee benefit programs, HRIS functions/payroll system activities, etc.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
Implement formal and informal communication measures to ensure employees are aware of key events and policies.
Facilitate Worker's Compensation program, FMLA and sick leave program.
Provide employee-management relations training/support and on-going staff development.
Oversee facility Service Excellence Committee and program, with annual recommendations for change.
