Laurel Heights Hospital is looking for a Teacher to work with autistic students . The teacher will be expected to implement the Georgia Standard Curriculum with fidelity. Professional beliefs must support research-based instructional practices and strategies for differentiated, innovative, and effective teaching and learning based on the State-adopted standards. All teachers will be assessed using the Teacher Effectiveness System. Students follow a typical school day with highly structured management and reinforcement systems in place. Teachers are expected to teach a summer enrichment program. This position works with students diagnosed with severe to moderate Autism who will require behavior modification, use of language systems, and a functional curriculum. EOE.
