River Point Behavioral Health is seeking a Territory Sales Director to be a part of our Senior Management Team. This exciting position is responsible for growing the hospital's business by managing all hospital marketing efforts including advertising, public relations, research and referral development. The Director of Business Development is also responsible for utilizing and managing the marketing department budget and coordinating/developing hospital based workshops/other events. Additional responsibilities encompass the gathering, analyzing and reporting of data related to marketing efforts and the management of the hospital marketing team. Essential Job Duties: Formulates, directs and coordinate business development activities and procedures to promote the facility's treatment services. Identifies, develops and evaluates business development strategies, based on the knowledge of the facility's goals and objectives, market characteristics and costs of services. Develops the necessary market research, forecasting, follow up and budget for the facility's marketing plan in conjunction with the CEO and appropriate administrative staff members. Organizes and executes special events and tours for the facility. Coordinates and participates in promotional activities to market the facility's treatment services. Develops and implements actions to meet financial goals, reduce costs and improve department productivity. Establishes and implements departmental goals, objectives, policies and procedures, and action plans. Maintains appropriate database of community demographic data and service utilization statistics to be used in planning and program development. Makes regular calls and visits to establish referral sources as well as maintaining contact with current referral sources within the identified market service area. Negotiates contractual payment rates with insurance companies for treatment services.
